"Recently we tested a line of fresh frozen organic baby food that had us cracking up. Strange thing to say, I know but if you've ever read the website I Can Has Cheezeburger and seen the ironically captioned images of fat "lolcats" pining over tempting treats, then you can appreciate the look of sheer drooling drama on my very own LOLbaby when presented with Tastybaby baby food. Poor thing was beside himself with the yumminess.

 My son already had discriminating taste. I've been preparing his food fresh at home but apparently I have not been doing it quite right. I've not mastered the combinations, spices or freshest organic ingredients, perhaps. Hard to say. All I know is that while my homemade food may be palatable, Tastybaby food is Gourmet. It's the STUFF. Note: Maybe this is why a fight broke out amongst the older children over who got to eat the leftover Bangos. Except there were no leftovers. The container was licked clean. My husband, meanwhile, ended up eating the Mama Mia entrees. And he only got to do this because the baby is not eating wheat products yet. "I feel it necessary to let your company know what a great job you are doing. Last month my 6 month old tried your baby foods and was so impressed with the scrumptiousness and heartiness they had to offer. You had to see her licking her lips and smile. This product was the best I have ever tried for my baby and when I called your customer service number to ask them about the ingredients they went out of their way to make sure I was treated nice and got the information I needed.

"I just found Tasty Baby in my local organic grocery store (The Home Economist, Davidson, NC) and fed my 7 month old the icy peach as soon as I got home.  He is cutting all four front teeth on the top and he loved the slushy texture!! I LOVED the flavor myself!  I am now in love with Tasty Baby.  I can't wait to feed it to my 4 year old.  He used to be such a good veggie eater, but ever since entering preschool  he has revolted against veggies.  Too much saturated fat food and peer 
pressure, I guess.

But this organic frozen product had me at "Hip 2B Pear" and sealed the deal with names like "Life's a Peach" and "Corn in the USA." But it wasn't about me or about the product being all-natural or a brilliant marketing plan, it was my 7-month-old granddaughter Kayleigh who cast the deciding vote. She adored it all -- from the Sweetie Pie (sweet potato with apples and cinnamon) to the Mama Mia (squash with zucchini, quinoa pasta and parmesan). Although these seem like sophisticated ingredients for a baby (one meal contains cumin), apparently, as the founders suggest, you must expand the baby's palate one taste at a time and they will be open to a broader range of tastes.
